Missed Connections NY is my first amazing blog discovery of Twenty-Ten. I can't help but adore these amazing pieces by Sophie Blackall illustrated from actual Missed Connections Ads that were placed on NYC's Craigs list. I Heart Birthdays!

Today my first feline friend that was mine all mine turns 5! Happy Birthday Mosi from your little bro Beanie and I. We <3 you. I can't believe he's 5 time sure flies! Mosi is the silver one and Beanie is the little brown one.

The Uniform Project

I can't say The Uniform Project is 100% vegan but it is 100% amazing. Also a lot of upcycled, recycled and vintage materials are used and the money being raised goes to a great cause. You could as well donate a few vegan pieces of your own to the project to help make it more vegan, I know I plan to :).

Twenty-Ten

I'm so ready to say good bye to 2009. It wasn't a horrible year but it also wasn't a great one and I'm hoping that this new decade will be amazing! Here are a few of my New Years Resolutions....

1. Grow my hair for Angel Hair. They make wigs for kids with cancer. I'm already half way there!
2. Plan a vegan, crafty and artsy farsty trip to NYC.
3. Exercises more!
4. Try to brown bag it to work at least 4 times a week.
5. Visit as many neighborhoods in Toronto as I can.
6. Save up money for a fabulous new bike. Vintage looking of course :).
7. Hangout more with my family & friends.
8. Take a screen printing class.
9. Start selling my silversmithing jewelry pieces on etsy.
10. Blog more!
11. Be creative & crafty for myself.
12. Learn to play my guitar.
13. Bake & cook more.
14. Read more!
15. Take part in either a summer or xmas craft fair.
16. Have fun!

I heart my iphone and as Pee Wee Herman use to say (back in the day) maybe I should marry it. Haaaaa! I hope everyone had a fantastic xmas!

Craft In The Family

These beautiful wallets were handcrafted by my grandfather in I'm guessing the 1950's. Looks like being crafty (and loving horses) runs in my family. I'm loving both textiles he used to line the wallets. He was into faux bois before anyone else :)

City Of Craft

The City of Craft is this weekend! This year it's on all weekend long so make sure to head on over to The Theater Center (187 Queen St & Dovercourt) to check it out. Also make sure to drop by The Devils Workshop's booth to have a peek @ the results of my Adventures In Silversmithing. I have 12 jewelry pieces on display!

10 Minutes To Go

I was having a totally shite day and then this song popped up on my ipod today and made me want to dance. It's amazing how music can just lift your spirits right up when you're feeling down. Sometimes you just need that one song that puts a smile on your face. Best feeling EVER.
